Biography

Nathan Bachrach received his PhD from Tilburg University in 2015, focusing on research related to sex, attachment, autonomy, and personality pathology. He is a registered clinical psychologist and has been working as a clinical psychologist, clinical manager, and senior researcher at GGZ Oost Brabant. In 2021, he became an associate professor at Tilburg University, where he also served as director of the postgraduate training program in mental health psychology (GZ-opleiding) at RINO Zuid from 2023. Bachrach teaches within the clinical psychology program at Tilburg University, bringing extensive clinical experience in treating patients with trauma-related disorders and severe personality disorders. He is a certified supervisor in schema therapy and an EMDR practitioner. In 2025, he is expected to assume the role of chair for the Coordinators’ Committee of Program Directors for the postgraduate training program in mental health psychology.
