Biography

Nathan Bachrach received his PhD from Tilburg University in 2015, specializing in research related to sex, attachment, and autonomy-relatedness in personality pathology. He is a registered clinical psychologist and has significant experience working as a clinical psychologist, clinical manager, and senior researcher at GGZ Oost Brabant. In 2021, he became an associate professor at Tilburg University and in 2023, he served as the director of the postgraduate training program in mental health psychology (GZ-opleiding) at RINO Zuid. He teaches in the clinical psychology program at Tilburg University and has extensive clinical experience in treating patients with trauma-related disorders and severe personality disorders. He is also a certified supervisor in schema therapy (VGCT) and an EMDR practitioner. Since 2025, he has held the position of chair for the Coordinators’ Committee Program Directors (HCO) for the postgraduate training program in mental health psychology.
