My work focuses on data analysis methods for exoplanet detection. The most sensitive detection methods rely on collecting light from a star, whose variations can indicate the presence of one or more planets. The data are presented in the form of irregularly sampled time series and are contaminated by complex stellar and instrumental noise, which temporally correlates and limits our ability to detect Earth-like planets in the habitable zone. My research aims to improve data analysis tools to enable this type of detection. I also work marginally on the studies of exoplanet populations and geological data analysis.
