Dr. Nauro Campos

Biography

Nauro F. Campos is a Professor of Economics at University College London, where he also serves as a Research Professor at ETH-Zürich. His research interests primarily focus on political economy and European integration. He has previously taught at several institutions, including CERGE-EI in Prague, California State University in Fullerton, the University of Newcastle, Brunel University, and Paris 1 Sorbonne. Campos has held prestigious visiting positions such as Fulbright Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, Robert McNamara Fellow at the World Bank, and CBS Fellow at Oxford University. He has also worked as a Research Fellow at IZA-Bonn and a Professorial Fellow at UNU-MERIT in Maastricht. In addition, he has been an advisor to the UK’s Department for International Development, serving as a Senior Economic Advisor. Campos received his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in 1997. He is the editor-in-chief of the journal Comparative Economic Studies, associated with the Association for Comparative Economic Studies, and contributes to the Cambridge University Press book series on Economics of European Integration.
