Biography

Navin Ramankutty is a Professor and Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) specializing in Data Science and Sustainable Global Food Systems at the University of British Columbia. His research program aims to understand how humans use and modify the Earth’s land surface, with a focus on agriculture and its implications for the global environment.
