Biography

Neal Rowe is an associate professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Ottawa and an attending urologist at the Ottawa Hospital. He completed a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Afterward, he trained in urology at the University of Ottawa and completed a fellowship in transplantation and renal surgery at Western University in London, Ontario. Dr. Rowe joined the faculty of the University of Ottawa in 2015 and currently serves as the director of undergraduate urology education, actively engaging in urology training at both the medical school and residency levels. His clinical research interests include surgical adrenal disease, localized advanced kidney cancer, and the management of benign prostate enlargement. Dr. Rowe is dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences for students in the field of urology and continues to contribute to the advancement of surgical practices and research.
