Biography

Neeraja Yadwadkar is an Assistant Professor and fellow of the Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Chair in the Chandra Family Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research is centered on Cloud Computing Systems and Machine Learning, utilizing her strong background in Machine Learning (ML) to enhance how these fields intersect. This dual focus allows her to bridge complementary disciplines, concentrating on the application of ML in systems engineering. Neeraja earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the RISE Lab at the University of California, Berkeley, where she worked with renowned professors Randy Katz and Joseph Gonzalez. Prior to her Ph.D., she completed her master's degree in Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India, and obtained her bachelor's degree from the Government College of Engineering in Pune, India.
