Neil Zhao is an Assistant Professor in the Chandra Family Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. His research interests focus on Computer Architecture, Hardware/System Security, and Cloud Computing. Specifically, he works on practical defenses against microarchitectural side-channel attacks in production cloud environments and the development of confidential computing clouds.
