Biography

Nele Schuldt began her PhD journey at the University of Ghent in November 2020, where she was appointed as a fellow by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO). She holds an Advanced LL.M in European International Human Rights Law from the University of Leiden and a LL.B in Law with a focus on Human Rights from the University of Essex. During her postgraduate studies, she undertook a traineeship at the European Court of Human Rights under the supervision of Judge Pinto de Albuquerque. Her research primarily centers on issues relating to evidence in human rights litigation, particularly in the context of climate change and environmental claims, with guidance from Professor Marie-Bénédicte Dembour.
