Nelly Parisot, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at NYU Langone Health. With a background in neuroscience and psychology, she has developed a well-rounded approach to treating patients in critical situations. Dr. Parisot specializes in trauma care, disaster preparedness, airway management, and quality improvement projects, using her extensive experience to manage acute conditions and provide life-saving interventions. She is passionate about clinical care and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals, and she strives to improve patient outcomes in high-pressure environments. Dr. Parisot’s educational journey began at Barnard College, where she researched animal models of schizophrenia and worked with individuals suffering from mental illness and addiction. Her diverse upbringing, having spent time in both France and the United States, has also shaped her empathetic approach to medicine, allowing her to connect with patients from various backgrounds.
