Biography

Nethal Jajo completed his PhD in Mathematics from Nankai University, China, in 1999. He has served as a tutor at the School of Physical, Environmental and Mathematical Sciences at the University of New South Wales and has lectured at Western Sydney University. Jajo has also contributed to the Northern Consortium of British Universities and Macquarie University. His professional experience includes work as a mathematics modeller for the Australian Department of Defence. His research interests encompass robust regression analysis techniques, non-parametric and semi-parametric regression, stochastic system modelling, statistical machine learning, and business analytics. He is adept in partial least squares path modelling and dynamic modelling simulation applications across various fields such as military, environment, ecology, health, and education within social sciences. Jajo is also a member of the editorial boards for the International Journal of Statistics & Economics, previously known as the Bulletin of Statistics and Economics, and the International Journal of Ecological Economics and Statistics.
