Nga Lee "Sally" Ng is a Professor in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She holds a joint appointment with the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences and a courtesy appointment in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Before joining Georgia Tech, Dr. Ng worked at Aerodyne Research Inc. in the Center for Aerosol Cloud Chemistry. Her research focuses on the fundamental understanding of the chemical mechanisms underlying aerosol formation, composition, and health effects. Dr. Ng and her research group utilize a synergistic approach that includes conducting laboratory chamber experiments and ambient field measurements alongside advanced mass spectrometry techniques to study aerosols. She serves as a co-editor for the journal Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics and is a member of the Editorial Boards for Scientific Reports, the Journal of Aerosol Science, and ACS Earth and Space Chemistry. Additionally, Dr. Ng has served as the Chair of the Environmental Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) in 2020 and was the Conference Chair for the American Association for Aerosol Research (AAAR) in 2019.
