Biography

Professor Nial Wheate graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Doctor of Philosophy. He also holds a Master of Business Administration and a Doctor of Science, both from the University of Sydney. Nial began his academic career as an Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. He has held various noteworthy positions, including Research Fellowship at the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences at Western Sydney University and Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. He was also Program Director for pharmacy undergraduate degrees and Head of Cancer Research. Nial has received several accolades, such as the John Martin Memorial Award and the National Best-in-Field Prize in Inorganic Chemistry.
