I am a chromatin biologist with an interest in understanding the mechanisms that control gene expression, particularly in the context of dysregulated multiple myeloma. I hold the Kay Kendall Leukaemia Fund Intermediate Fellowship, which focuses on exploring the role of spontaneous chromatin changes in the evolution of drug resistance in multiple myeloma. My research investigates the epigenetic changes that occur during relapse and aims to understand how drug resistance arises, often necessitating genetic mutations. This work seeks to identify therapeutic targets that can reverse these processes and improve treatment outcomes.
