I am a Research Fellow in the School of Regulation and Global Governance and a Research Affiliate at the School of Philosophy, Australian National University. My research specializes in ethics, applied social and political philosophy, with a focus on the philosophy of well-being and its measurement, the philosophy of disability, conceptual engineering in practical contexts, and Indigenous rights. Currently, I am involved in a project coordinated by Associate Professor Nick Bainton and Peter Yu, the Vice President for First Nations at ANU, working in partnership with the Ngarluma Yindjibarndi Foundation Limited. My research examines the agreements made between Indigenous communities and extractive resource companies, analyzing how these agreements can undermine economic self-determination while promoting Indigenous rights. Additionally, I focus on developing national wellbeing frameworks that incorporate diverse perspectives and values to enhance the well-being of various populations, particularly Indigenous peoples, and ensure sustainable benefits for future generations.
