Biography

J. Nicholas Ziegler is a political scientist specializing in Western Europe, currently serving as a Senior Fellow in International Public Affairs. His research focuses on political economy, generational change in Europe, and financial market regulation in both the United States and Europe. His fieldwork has emphasized the politics and public policy of France and Germany, and he teaches courses on the European Union.
