Dr. Nicholson Price

Biography

Nicholson Price is a Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School where he specializes in intellectual property and health law, particularly focusing on the regulation of innovation in the life sciences. He is a core partner at the University of Copenhagen’s Center for Advanced Studies in Biomedical Innovation Law and serves as a co-principal investigator for Project Precision Medicine, which intersects artificial intelligence and law. Previously, he was an assistant professor at the University of New Hampshire School of Law and an academic fellow at the Petrie-Flom Center at Harvard Law School, where he concentrated on health law, policy, biotechnology, and bioethics. Price has also been a visiting scholar at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. His research interests include health law, intellectual property, antitrust law, and the intersection of technology and law, shaping debates on the impacts of AI on health care systems.
