Biography

I am a clinical academic researcher with a clinical focus on young onset inherited dementias. I serve as a Professor of Clinical Neurology at UCL’s Queen Square Institute of Neurology and I am the Director of the Dementia Research Centre. Additionally, I work as a consultant neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where I run a multidisciplinary cognitive clinic. I have an active interest in supporting patients and families affected by these devastating disorders, and have played a key role in setting up support groups as part of Rare Dementia Support. My work aims to provide comprehensive care and support for individuals facing neurodegenerative diseases.
