Biography

Nick Graham is an Associate Professor in the Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Southern California. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2001 and went on to earn his Master's and Doctoral Degrees in Chemical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 2004 and 2007, respectively. His postdoctoral training at the University of California, Los Angeles, focused on investigating kinase signaling interactions and tumor metabolism under the guidance of Thomas Graeber. His research lab employs systems biology approaches to develop novel therapeutic solutions for cancer and other human diseases, specializing in the use of mass spectrometry and high-content technologies to generate proteomic and metabolomic data from cancer cell lines, mouse models, and human samples. By integrating diverse biological data, he aims to create comprehensive computational models that can extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and facilitate the translation of systems biology models into clinical applications. Graham's work actively involves collaboration with chemists and physician-scientists to discover new biological phenomena related to cancer treatment.
