Dr. Nick Mosey

Biography

Nick Mosey is an Associate Professor cross-appointed in Chemistry at Queen's University, where he also serves as the Associate Dean of Research in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. His academic background includes a PhD from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Mosey's research focuses on developing simulation methods that provide atomic-level insights into the properties and behavior of molecules and materials. His method development efforts emphasize techniques that accelerate molecular dynamics simulations and create constitutive models to accurately describe experimental behavior. Furthermore, he applies his research to understand the interplay between mechanical forces and chemical reactions, particularly in the areas of tribology and electrocatalysis.
