Biography

Nick graduated with a bachelor's degree in Materials Science from ETH Zurich in 2021 and continued on to earn a master's degree in the same field. During his academic journey, he completed a six-month internship in the industry and worked on his master’s thesis, which focused on the incorporation of plasmonic metal nanoparticles into resins for two-photon lithography under the supervision of Professor Lucio Isa. Currently, Nick is involved in research on hybrid hydrogels with photothermal responses and is working as a research assistant, furthering his studies with a projected graduation for his master’s degree in 2025. He is also engaged in the development of biodegradable sealants for tubeless bicycle tires in collaboration with industry partners.
