Nick graduated with a bachelor's degree in Materials Science from ETH Zurich in 2021 and continued on to earn a master's degree in the same field. During his academic journey, he completed a six-month internship in the industry and worked on his master’s thesis, which focused on the incorporation of plasmonic metal nanoparticles into resins for two-photon lithography under the supervision of Professor Lucio Isa. Currently, Nick is involved in research on hybrid hydrogels with photothermal responses and is working as a research assistant, furthering his studies with a projected graduation for his master’s degree in 2025. He is also engaged in the development of biodegradable sealants for tubeless bicycle tires in collaboration with industry partners.
The GRE is mandatory for students who did not obtain their Bachelor's degree in an EU/EFTA state. Some departments (e.g., Computer Science) have specific ECTS credit requirements in core subjects.
