Professor Dr. Nickolas Eaves

Biography

Nickolas Eaves is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Automotive & Materials Engineering at the University of Windsor. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, which he received in 2016, and a MASc in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2012. He completed his BASc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2009. His research interests lie in the synthesis of carbon-based nanomaterials, including graphene and carbon nanotubes, and their application in various plasma systems. He is also focused on the cogeneration of green hydrogen and high value carbon nanomaterials through methane pyrolysis, and the development of multi-scale numerical models for nanoparticle aerosol processes. Eaves has published numerous articles in high-impact journals, contributing significantly to the field of mechanical and materials engineering.
