Nicola Abbott is an Associate Professor in Social Psychology at the UCL Institute of Education. She is currently the co-leader of the BSc Psychology Education programme. In addition to her leadership role in the developing undergraduate programme, she teaches modules related to Social, Developmental, and Applied Psychology. Holding a BSc in Psychology from the University of Kent, awarded in 2009, she developed a passion for Social and Developmental Psychology. Shortly after finishing her doctoral studies, she began her career as a Lecturer in Social Psychology at Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU), where she was promoted to Senior Lecturer and took on the role of Programme Director for the Undergraduate BSc Psychology programme in 2015. In 2018, she joined UCL and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2024.
