Biography

Nicolaas Puts is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Sciences at King's College London. He joined the institution in January 2020 after serving as a postdoctoral fellow and Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at Johns Hopkins University. He holds a PhD from Cardiff University and has completed his BSc in Biology and MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at Utrecht University. He aims to understand the biological nature of sensory difficulties and their impact on conditions such as autism and ADHD. Additionally, Dr. Puts is committed to supporting junior scientists in their career development and directs the Postdoc Program at King's Health Science Doctoral Training Centre.
