Biography

Nicolas Diehm graduated from Heidelberg University, Germany, in 2003. He is the director of interventional angiology and vice-chairman of angiology at Kantonsspital Aarau, Switzerland. Additionally, he holds a professorship at the University of Bern, where he is actively involved in experimental research and teaching activities at the Institute for Surgical Technology and Biomechanics (ISTB). In 2007, he completed the Cook Research Scholarship at Baptist Cardiac Vascular Institute, Miami, USA. His research interests are centered on endovascular device design, and he focuses on aspects of endovascular therapy for patients with claudication and critical limb ischemia. Dr. Diehm has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for various cardiovascular research journals.
