Nicolas Fawzi's work focuses on determining the structure, dynamics, and interactions of large assemblies of intrinsically disordered proteins. Nicolas joined the faculty at Brown University in January 2013. His laboratory employs a combination of novel NMR spectroscopy approaches and atomistic simulations, supplemented with biophysical imaging methods, to explore the high-resolution structures of toxic species and their interactions with macromolecules and membranes, aimed at identifying potential therapeutic agents.
