Biography

Nicole Beamish is an Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Queen's University. She holds a Ph.D. from Queen's University, as well as an MScPT and a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) from McMaster University. Her primary research focus is on improving lifelong health for women, particularly during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Her work aims to enhance women’s knowledge about the importance of exercise during these critical times and examines how physical activity and specific exercise strategies can help manage and improve health outcomes for women diagnosed with chronic diseases.
