Dr. Nicole Keller

Biography

Nicole Keller is a demand concert artist, adjudicator, and clinician, known for her performances in venues like St. Patrick Cathedral in New York, Cathédrale Notre-Dame in Paris, and Dom St. Stephan in Passau. She specializes in eclectic programs that cater to the instrument and the audience's desires, aiming to expand listeners' horizons by pairing familiar sounds with new genres. Her performances with orchestras include concertos and large works involving the organ, harpsichord, and piano. As a chamber musician and continuo player, she has performed works such as Bach’s St. Matthew and St. John Passions, as well as the Christmas Oratorio and the Mass in B minor. As a teacher, Ms. Keller strives to foster a commitment to excellence in performance and scholarship, encouraging self-growth among her students, many of whom have gone on to prestigious graduate schools and successful musical careers. Her experience as a church musician includes leading volunteer and professional choirs, developing children’s choir programs, and coordinating choral residencies in the UK and Ireland. She received her Performer’s Certificate and Master of Music Degree in Organ Performance from the Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music.
