Dr. Nicole Kroll

Biography

Nicole Peters Kroll is a Clinical Associate Professor at Texas A&M College of Nursing. She holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler. With extensive training in clinical practice, she has achieved multiple post-master's certificates in Psychiatry Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioning. Her research interests focus on rural underserved healthcare, mental behavioral health, and the integration of telehealth into patient care. She is dedicated to advancing the field of nursing education and practice, emphasizing integrative holistic care and patient-centered approaches. Nicole is an active member of professional organizations such as the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty and the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, where she advocates for nursing practice and education. She has also contributed to DNP residency capstone projects and PhD dissertations, fostering new generations of nursing professionals through her teaching interests in primary care, geriatrics, and physical assessment.
