Biography

Nicole uncovers novel psychological insights harnessed to improve personal, societal, and environmental well-being. She is the founder and director of the Well-Being Research Lab and author of the psychology blog 'Happy Consumer.' Nicole’s award-winning research has been published in top-tier journals including Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Consumer Research, and Journal of Marketing. Her work has been featured in international press outlets such as Scientific American, Washington Post, National Geographic, Business Insider, and Forbes. Nicole received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Florida State University. Before joining Schulich, she held faculty appointments at the Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics, Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University), and the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne. She serves as an Area Editor for the International Journal of Research in Marketing and is an ERB member for the Journal of Consumer Research.
