Dr. Nicole Panarelli obtained her undergraduate degree in Government from Georgetown University and earned her M.D. from New York Medical College. She completed her residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Weill Cornell Medicine and further pursued a fellowship in Gastrointestinal Pathology at the same institution, as well as at Memorial Sloan Kettering. In 2015, she became a Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore, where she also directed Anatomic Pathology Research. In July 2023, she rejoined Weill Cornell Medicine as a Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, also serving as Vice Chair for Education and Faculty Development, and Chief of Gastrointestinal Liver Pathology. Her accolades include the Distinguished House Staff Award and the Resident Distinguished Research Award from New York Presbyterian Hospital, as well as the Outstanding Teaching Award from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In 2023, she received the Distinguished Service Award from the Rodger C. Haggitt GI Pathology Society.
