Biography

Nicole Paquet is a full professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, a Master's degree in Neurobiology from Laval University, a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences from McGill University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Vestibular Physiology also at McGill. Since beginning her academic career at McGill in 1997, she joined the School of Rehabilitation Sciences and the physiotherapy program at the University of Ottawa in 2003. Paquet has developed expertise in teaching vestibular rehabilitation for students and professionals in physiotherapy. Her research at the University of Ottawa in the Lees campus psychomotricity lab focuses on spatial orientation in humans, postural control, and balance. She collaborates on projects studying rehabilitation procedures that involve these areas of expertise.
