Biography

Nicole Siegert, MD, is an Assistant Professor in Family Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her MD at Eberhard-Karls-University in Tuebingen, Germany, where she also finished her dissertation on Germany's incident reporting system. She has served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Patient Safety Simulation in Germany, where she facilitated interdisciplinary simulation trainings. Siegert completed her Family Medicine residency at Brown University and joined the faculty in 2014. She is board certified in Family Medicine and has a dedicated interest in patient safety and simulation training. As the Maternal Child Health Director in the Brown Family Medicine residency from 2016 to 2018, she has trained medical students and residents in Maternal Child Health while providing clinical care at Health Centers in Providence, Rhode Island.
