Biography

Nicolò Gennaro is a board-certified radiologist with experience spanning various imaging modalities including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and PET/CT. He completed his foundational medical training at the University of Perugia in Italy and subsequently undertook his residency in radiology at Humanitas University in Milan. Nicolò further honed his expertise through a research fellowship funded by the European Society of Oncologic Imaging at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) in Amsterdam, where he focused on soft tissue sarcomas and abdominal malignancies. In 2021, he joined the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale (EOC) as the Head Physician of the Imaging Institute of Southern Switzerland (IIMSI). Currently, he serves as a Clinical Research Associate at the Quantitative Imaging Core Lab of the Radiology Department at Northwestern University in Chicago, USA. His primary research interests encompass soft tissue sarcoma, melanoma, liver malignancies, interventional oncology, and medical education.
