Dr. Nidthida Lin

Biography

Nidthida Lin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at the Macquarie Business School, Macquarie University. She completed her Ph.D. in Management at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney. Prior to her Ph.D., Nidthida obtained a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Cornell University. She has worked as a Senior Research Associate on the Offshoring Research Network (ORN) project at the Center of International Business Research and Education (CIBER) at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, USA. Before entering academia, Nidthida was a business consultant at Accenture, specializing in Enterprise Business Intelligence and Data Mining. Her research interests predominantly focus on managerial decision making, design cognition, context innovation, and entrepreneurship, with her work published in leading international journals such as the Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and California Management Review. She is a recipient of Australian Research Council funding for a five-year study aimed at stimulating economic development and innovation in the Penrith region. Nidthida teaches courses on Strategic Management and Innovation Strategy at the MBA level.
