Biography

Niels Byrjalsen is a postdoctoral researcher and deputy director at the Centre for Military Studies, Department of Political Science, University of Copenhagen. His research primarily focuses on European, Nordic, and Danish security and defense, transatlantic relations, and concepts such as trust, subversion, and international order. His PhD project examined how trust shapes the production of international order, with an emphasis on crises in transatlantic relations.
