Biography

Nigel S. Bamford is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics specializing in Pediatric Neurology at Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his medical education at the University of Utah and undertook residency training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. Prior to joining Yale, Dr. Bamford served as a physician-scientist at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. His work addresses the complexities of children’s neurological diseases, particularly movement disorders. As the Section Chief of Pediatric Neurology, he leads a division that focuses on advancing care for children affected by neurological issues in New England.
