Biography

Nikki Hill is an Associate Professor at the Penn State Ross Carol Nese College of Nursing. Her research focuses on identifying the risk of cognitive impairment among older adults and tailoring interventions to maximize their daily functional abilities and well-being. This includes investigating the relationship between self-reported and objectively measured cognition, factors contributing to the reporting of cognitive problems throughout life, and assessing the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, as well as the impact of individual factors on well-being and activity engagement among older adults. Her research has been funded by organizations such as the National Institute of Nursing Research, the National Institute on Aging, the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence, and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.
