Biography

Nikkie Wiegink is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University. Her recent research projects focus on corporate sovereignty, frontier governance, resource extraction, and displacement, with significant work conducted in Mozambique. Prior to her current position, she worked as a consultant on disarmament and small arms control at the Bonn International Center for Conversion (BICC) from 2014 to 2015.
