Dr. Nikolaos Theodorakis

Biography

Dr. Nikolaos (Nikos) Theodorakis is a Departmental Lecturer and Course Convenor in International Trade Finance at the University of Oxford. He has been teaching and supervising students in the Diplomatic Studies Programme for over a decade. At Oxford, Nikos has lectured at the Faculty of Law and has held positions such as Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Kellogg College and Junior Research Fellow at Pembroke College. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge and holds degrees from the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University College London, London School of Economics, and the University of Athens. Prior to joining Oxford, Nikos taught and conducted research at esteemed institutions including Harvard Law School and Columbia Law School, and served as a fellow at the Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University. Additionally, he has experience collaborating with various international organizations and has worked on legal training and consulting for institutions like the United Nations.
