Biography

Nilesh Raut is a Research Officer at LSE Health, primarily working on the Vitality project. He has previously served as a Fellow at the Department of Health Policy at the London School of Economics. Nilesh is a recipient of the BA Leverhulme Small Research Grant in 2024 and the LSE Phelan United States Centre’s Summer Research Grant in 2021. His PhD dissertation examined the aging impact on the demand and supply of caregiving and care financing. His educational background includes a PhD in Health Economics Policy from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from Dr. B.A. Technological University, India. He has also worked with SIEMENS as a Design Executive Engineer and Project Manager in New York, USA, focusing on data center migration for the Department of Mental Health.
