Dr. Niloufar Izadinia

Biography

Niloufar Izadinia is a Lecturer in the Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California. She holds a Doctoral Degree in Industrial Engineering Management Sciences from Northwestern University and two Master's Degrees in Industrial Engineering, one from Sharif University of Technology and another from Northwestern University. Her research interests focus on data-driven operations research optimization, leveraging large language models, and applying deep learning techniques within various fields. She also explores data science applications, specifically in supply chain management, disease diagnosis, trading, education technology, and sustainability. Niloufar has made significant contributions to her field and is recognized for her work, being awarded the NASA National Aeronautics Space Administration HRP Grant Augmentation Award in 2019. She is passionate about integrating her research into practical solutions that can impact industry and education.
