Dr. Nils Rosmuller

Biography

Nils Rosmuller is an Honorary Professor at the University of Twente, specializing in safety and energy transition. He obtained his MSc in Public Administration and Business Administration from the University of Twente, and his Ph.D. in Technology Policy and Management from Delft University of Technology. His research primarily focuses on supporting public decision makers in safety-related issues, particularly in developing relevant indicators for transport corridors. Rosmuller is also an applied professor at the Dutch Institute for Public Safety (NIPV) where he leads a research group in energy safety and transportation safety. His work includes risk assessment and environmental safety related to sustainable developments such as solar parks, hydrogen production, and transportation of hazardous materials. Furthermore, he serves on various boards and committees, contributing to the advancement of safety policies within energy transitions and public safety management.
