Biography

Nima Naghibi is a Professor in the Department of English at Toronto Metropolitan University. He teaches and researches in the areas of postcolonial and diasporic studies, focusing on literatures of immigration and exile as well as life narratives, with particular attention to questions of human rights and social justice. He is the author of "Women Write Iran: Nostalgia, Human Rights, Diaspora" (Minnesota Press, 2016) and "Rethinking Global Sisterhood: Western Feminism in Iran" (Minnesota Press, 2007).
