Dr. Ning Zhang

Biography

Ning Zhang is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Windsor, where he holds the position of Canada Research Chair in Edge Computing. His research focuses on wireless networking and artificial intelligence networking, particularly in the context of internet vehicles and security, edge computing, and the Internet of Things. With a Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo obtained in 2015, he has contributed significantly to the field through various publications and serves as an Associate Editor for several prestigious journals including IEEE Communications Surveys Tutorials, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, and IEEE Internet of Things Journal. His notable works address challenges and solutions in the development of Software Defined Space-Air-Ground Integrated Vehicular Networks and delay-aware microservice coordination in mobile edge computing, among others. Through his research, he aims to enhance the security and efficiency of vehicular networks and smart transportation systems.
