Biography

Nirshanthan Nagarajah qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School in 2002. After rotating through clinical specialties, he completed his General Practice training in Maidstone, Kent in 2009. He became a partner at New River Health, which was formerly known as Church Street and Castlegate Surgeries, where he has been covering the areas of Ware and Hertford since 2010. In 2013, he began teaching Cambridge medical students, delivering seminars at the Clinical School. In 2018, he became an Associate Trainer and has served as the Assistant Director for GP Studies since 2023, leading the Year 5 program. He continues to practice at New River Health and is affiliated with Hatfield Hospital and Holly Hospital.
