Biography

Nisha Sankaran is an expert in neuroradiology, affiliated with Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She has extensive experience as a diagnostic radiologist specializing in neuroradiology, having previously worked with Johns Hopkins Northern Virginia Radiology Consultants. Dr. Sankaran earned her medical degree from Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University and completed her diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. Her research interests include stroke imaging, spine imaging, brain tumor imaging, and traumatic brain and spine injuries, and she has published multiple journal articles focused on spine and stroke-related imaging.
