Professor Dr. Nizar Bouguila

Biography

Nizar Bouguila is a professor at Concordia University, specializing in Information Systems Engineering at the Concordia Institute. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Sherbrooke University, Canada. His research interests are diverse and include Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Image Processing, and Statistical Process Control. Professor Bouguila's work also explores 3D graphics and games design. As a Research Chair in Applied Artificial Intelligence, he guides thesis supervision and is open to inquiries related to his research areas. With years of experience in the academic field, he has contributed significantly to advancing knowledge and technology in his disciplines. He remains actively engaged in both teaching and research, mentoring students and collaborating with peers in various innovative projects.
