Biography

Noa Levin is a postdoctoral researcher at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio, Università della Svizzera italiana, and an associated researcher at the Centre Marc Bloch in Berlin. Her research interests lie at the intersection of political philosophy, critical urban theory, and environmental philosophy. She is currently working on a research project funded by the Fondo Istituzionale la Ricerca (FIR) that focuses on 'Thermal Communities and the Climate Crisis: The Berlin Case Study'. Levin obtained her PhD from the Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy at Kingston University, London, with a monograph-based dissertation titled 'Infinite Mirrors: Benjamin, Deleuze and the Baroque', which is forthcoming from Bloomsbury Publishing. She also holds an MPhil in European Culture and Literature from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Philosophy and Film from Tel Aviv University. Additionally, she has taught in the Department of Cultural History and Theory at Humboldt University of Berlin and at Bard College Berlin.
