Biography

Noah Phillips is an Assistant Professor in Earth Sciences at USC Dornsife. He travels the world documenting rocks and minerals that deform in nature, returning to the Field Nano Lab to analyze samples that have been deformed at the micro and nano-scales. Moreover, he is eager to welcome graduate students to join his research group. His work has important implications for structural geology and the understanding of tectonic processes.
